This year we have the honor of bidding farewell to our long-standing moderation superstar Steve Barlow on his well-deserved retirement! Let’s celebrate and look back on 20 years of fantastic, humourous and distinctive moderation.

About Steve Barlow

Steve Barlow received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Utah State University in Logan, UT USA and then studied MBA courses at the University of Denver, Denver, Colorado USA. He looks back at a long career in Factory Automation related endeavors including Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Eaton-Kenway (Automated Materials Handling), Senior Vice President and COO at Auto-Soft (Manufacturing and Semiconductor Automation Software), and President and CEO at Roth & Rau Ortner USA (Automation Systems).

Steve is the best known face of the Innovation Forum for Automation. Since 2004 he has charmingly led through the innovation forum events  as a moderator. With his distinctive knowledge of the semiconductor industry – deriving from a lifelong hands-on working experience – his wonderful skills as a speaker paired with a great sense of humour, he is undeniably the heart and soul of our event. We are more than happy to welcome him back on the stage of the Innovation Forum for Automation!
